Posting this up for a friend to see if this is of any interest to anyone on here.

1972 Lotus Elan +2 , which has been owned by the current owners since 1976

The car was last used regularly in 2003 - 2004.

Until recently the car was regularly started, but now it won't start and just clicks. It has had a recent new starter motor fitted.

Odometer reads 26602 (unknown if genuine but consistent with old MOT certs 26596 in 2002 & 23070 in 1985). There is a comprehensive file of MOT's and invoices for work carried out under the current ownership. Replacement parts have generally provided by Paul Matty.

The car is very tired - used and neglected, but would still make an excellent project for a Lotus enthusiast.

If anyone is interested please message me and I can forward you more photos and details along with contact details should you wish to arrange a viewing of the car.

Car is located in the midlands.

Serious interest only please, as this car has become available due to a recent bereavement.

 Asking price is £8000

Updated  Information

Car may have been round the clock as recently discovered old MOT cert from 1978 states a mileage of 80,000 miles

Car was fitted with a replacement Spyder chassis in 1991 (Receipt for work to verify)
