Andy,

Presumably you consulted with the Cheshire Area Representative for LDC? Also have you contacted the Cheshire Area of Club Lotus, or the Cheshire Lotus Owners Group?

Cheers,

Pete.

Hi Pete

Yes I run it past Gareth (Cheshire AO) with an invite for him and the LDC but don't think he is interested in attending classic and Modern cars, don't know anyone at Club Lotus so not contacted them I have tried in the past but got nowhere with them unfortunately. I have around 40-45 cars attending on the booking list most are from Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire but the event is welcome for anyone with a new or classic Lotus from any club or district its pay on the gate if you want to come along

Regards

Andy

Hi Andy,

Glad you like the picture's. Yes I will attend on the 11th, I have a black Evora. Potentially some of my family may visit, as we all live locally, so if they can pay on the gate, that will be useful. I don't have a Facebook account, I am not really one for social media, although I can also be found on the Lotus Forums. If it is OK with you, I can give the event a shout out on there too.

Regards

Simon

HI Simon

Just want to say thanks for coming along today and sorry I did not get more chance to talk to you and got your name wrong 😞 was a very busy day trying to get around and meet all the owners and the people I have not met before and there was a lot today which is great news. Thanks again for braving the weather and coming today and will hopefully will see you again soon

Kind Regards

Andy LDCLC

  • Thanks 1

Hi Andy,

It was nice to meet you, it is always good to put a face to a name. I hope everyone enjoyed the venue, it was nice to think people had traveled that far. It was my first club meet and seemed well attended. Thank you for organising the day, some pictures below, I'd wanted to get a picture of the lime green Europa, but it had left, while I had gone for drink.

The lime green GT430 was kindly supplied by Tim and JCT600 Lotus and the Silver 430 Cup was supplied by Steve at Oakmere Lotus. Everyone really enjoyed the day and that's what its about in my eyes and I have had lot of positive comments and emails which is great.

Thank you once again for coming along and hopefully see you soon at another event or ride out, attached some more photos by me and the owners from the day
