Any interest in a Pembrokeshire photo weekend

Recommended Posts

At our mini meet in Tetbury I did mention my thoughts on organising a weekend get together in Pembrokeshire. My thoughts are to base the weekend in the village of Saundersfoot and to suggest a few routes that give ample venues for photography of the fabulous coastline of the national park. Routes would of course take in some great roads. Close of season October or start of season in Aril are dates I have in mind. The village has a varying availability of quality accommodation and excellent pubs and restaurants to suit all requirements.
If you would be interested in joining Sian p, myself and the blue beast please add to this post to open up discussion on firm dates.

Sounds like a great idea, there needs to be more going on in this area and Saundersfoot is a great location. The weather in October can be surprisingly warm too.

I would love to see more going on in this area but I'm not sure whether there are any more owners over this way Chris. Cardiff and Bridgend seem to be the areas with most and all events meets etc are for obvious reasons based in eastern Wales. At least I get the glorious roads of west Wales to myself!!

How about organising attendance at a Pembrey race day?

Could certainly do that along with the sprints and hillclimbs we have over here, Pembrey, Llysyfran, Llandow and Epynt. In fact I'm actually competing this Sunday at Epynt.

I would be deffo be interested.
I love pembrokeshire and go there at least once every year so any excuse to go there is great. I know Saundersfoot very well used to have relatives living there. Sure are some great roads to drive around the coast and Presilli hills. Can highly recommend the Tafern Sinc at Rosebush near the hills for some excellent home cooked Welsh grub.

Sounds good.

If we can tie in a motorsport event even better.

Andy.
