  1. Sorry Geoff I recall Stuart mentioning you had attended previously / or would like to and were looking to represent LDC this year. To be fair it only appeared on the provisional events calendar last November and hasn't been published in the magazine or on the website since so no issue.
  2. Can you add your post to all areas meets Christmas main event as mine is for my area Christmas lunch .

You might get more members booking up .

  3. Don't forget to book on the main Club Christmas Dinner... else it might not happen next year
  4. Yes. This is to cover the fee for allowing members to pay using a secure payment method and the costs involved with organising the event for members. Considering the Club doesn't hike up the price on top of the cost from the venue I would have thought this would be seen as pretty good value. Maybe next year we'll make it Β£40 per person
  5. I believe a Club attendance is being organised by Geoff Morgan: g.morgan@lotusdriversclub.org.uk.
  6. Great idea, I've added a poll to the top of the page
  7. Oh no, Mark you had to open this can of worms didn't you! Now I'm going to stick my head above the water and immediately say my initial impression was that I actually liked the re-design. Naturally people hate change, in all walks of life but I like the flat, solid colours and think it will look great in print and on websites/social media. I do agree there is an essence of Microsoft Paint and I will wait to see how the updated logo sits on the front of the cars. I wonder who will be the first to get a car with the new badge Looking back at the millennial logo designs, I was never much a fan of all the silver and chrome effect. Now I'm not a graphics designer, and I've come across very few comments which support the new logo design, on Facebook and the media, but I trust the brand and those behind it.

  9. Personally, it wouldn't put me off buying a car if that was the case. In fact, like a lot of others I like to do basic servicing at home with the occasional Lotus dealership service.

  12. 20 years of the Exige S1 and 340R, that's defiantly worth celebrating! I'll make a note to ensure we apply to the organisers to get these on track at Silverstone next year!
  13. Hello Neil. Congratulations on a lovely purchase and welcome to LDC.
