14 December Meeting at The Stag and Midlands Area Organiser Required
Thursday 14th December, 7:30pm at The Stag, Redhill, Stratford Upon Avon
The Lotus Drivers Club December Midlands area meeting will be a meal, your choice from the excellent pub menu available here, to give a nod towards celebrating Christmas. If you could let me know by email that you intend to come, I would be grateful so I can prepare The Stag with expected numbers.
Anyone is welcome and I look forward to seeing anyone who would like to join us. Thanks, Colin Smith: email@example.com
Midlands Area Organiser Required
The Lotus Drivers Club would like a keen, young (less than 80 will be fine) enthusiast to take the helm of our Midlands Meeting at The Stag, Redhill, Stratford Upon Avon. The meeting is shared with Club Lotus and typically consists of having a drink, a chat and club announcements about upcoming events from both clubs. Generally there are around 20 Lotus Cars in the car park during the Summer months.
The Club would like to invite someone enthusiastic to take over this meeting for the club and arrange some different events during the year. In 2017, the undoubted highlight was a talk by Julian Tomson on Designing the Elise. Other events could be different speakers, drive-outs to other locations for BBQ’s or Sunday Lunch, etc.
The position of AO was previously held by Arthur Clarke and currently by Colin Smith. The role is not an onerous or formal one and all meetings are a very casual and a pleasant affair. Enthusiasm is the only qualification required.
Please email Colin Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more or to discuss the position in more detail.
